In 1953, on the grounds and lawn surrounding the community house, Gunhild Svensson would found a camping site which would later be leased to Landskrona Camping Club. Today, this campground goes under the name of Glumslöv’s Camping.

Glumslöv’s Camping is situated in an area which for centuries has been classified as a nature reserve. The nature reserve is rich in ancient monuments, with the Stone Age tombs at Örenäs being the most well preserved.  There are numerous pieces of bricks in exciting shapes and colours along the beach from various brickworks which were in use in the area. The oldest - Kronotegelbruket i Sundvik - opened in 1740.

To be at  Glumslöv’s Camping is to be in the middle of an open agricultural landscape - going back to the 19th century - with its vast and rolling downs. The nature reserve provide protection to rare plants and animals, like for instance the bank swallow and their homes in the sandy precipice along the coastline. The old clay pits around the, nowadays, expired brickworks of Sundvik still houses several rare species.

(Information about the nature reserve is obtained from the Länsstyrelsen’s website)

The silhouette of MaryHill (previously known as Örenäs Castle), which - at the time of writing this (May of 2024) - is closed because of an extensive restoration.

Glumslöv’s Camping offers trailer and tent sites. There are facilities available (shower and toilet) as well as access to washing your dishes.
